How long do the ice buckets last?

Our ice buckets take overnight to fully melt - however, they are at their best when displayed for between two and four hours. We recommend keeping them in the freezer until about 10 minutes before your event is due to start to get the most out of them.

How do I make my ice buckets last longer?

To make your ice sculpture last as long as possible, we recommend:

• Keeping them in the freezer until 10 - 15 minutes prior to your event starting

• Displaying them in a cool, shady or air conditioned location (do not place in direct sun!)

• Regularly emptying the melted water from your display tray

• Pre-chilling your wine bottles

How many bottles of wine do they fit?

Our double ice buckets fit two standard wine bottles or one champagne bottle. Our triple ice buckets fit up to four standard wine bottles or three champagne bottles.

Are your ice cubes edible?

No, unfortunately our ice cubes are for display purposes only.

Can you match my flowers exactly?

We will do our best! Let us know at the checkout if there are any specific flower types or colours you are wanting, and we will aim to match them as closely as possible. Please keep in mind that flowers available depend on what’s in season and what freezes well, so not all flowers are possible to use.

Can you freeze something else i.e. fruit?

We love a creative brief! Along with flowers, we can also freeze fruit and fruit slices, as well as greenery. Let us know your vision and we will do our best to bring it to life!

What are the ice bucket dimensions?

Our double ice buckets are approx. 25cm x 25cm, and our triples are approx. 29cm x 29cm.

What size tray do I need?

If you are not hiring a tray from us, we recommend a min. 26cm diameter tray for doubles, and min. 30cm diameter tray for triples. Ideally your tray would have a tall rim to catch the water as it slowly melts (but not too tall that you can’t see the bucket!)

Where do you deliver?

Currently, we deliver within 25 kilometres of Hobsonville, Auckland. Please do not order online and instead contact us if you are based outside this zone, as we may be able to accommodate wider deliveries on a case-by-case basis, depending on order quantity.

Do you deliver outside Auckland?

Unfortunately we do not deliver outside Auckland at this stage. However, we have had our customers pick up and transport their own ice buckets in good quality chilly bins up to three hours away very successfully.

What times do you deliver?

Our delivery windows are:

• Thursday 6pm - 7pm

• Saturday 10am - 2pm

• Sunday 10am - 2pm

• Public holiday weekends, Thursday 6pm - 7pm only

Ice buckets can be kept in your freezer until 15 minutes before your event is due to start. You can also keep them in the fridge or a good quality chilly bin for up to a few hours before your event.

We recommend requesting your delivery time for approx. 15 minutes prior to your event beginning, if you do not have freezer space.

Please contact us if you require an alternate delivery time and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Can I pick up?

Absolutely! We allow pick up from Hobsonville, Auckland.

• Thursday 6pm and 7pm

• Friday 9am - 5.30pm (Whenuapai)

• Saturday 10am - 2pm

• Sunday 10am - 2pm

• Public holiday weekends, Thursday 6pm - 7pm only

Please contact us if you would like to discuss an alternate pick up time and we will do our best to accommodate you.

How do I transport my ice buckets?

If picking up, you’ll need to bring a large (see ice bucket dimensions above), good quality chilly bin. We’ll help you load them up so they’re nice and secure for the trip home!

How far in advance do I need to order?

Orders of 10 ice buckets or less need to be made a minimum of seven days in advance. Orders of 10 buckets or more require three weeks’ notice. If you require one sooner, please contact us, as we sometimes have extra stock available.

Storage

How long do they last in the freezer?

Our ice buckets can be stored in the freezer for up to three weeks prior to your event.

Can I keep them in the fridge or a chilly bin?

The freezer is best, but if you are limited on space you can keep them in the fridge or a good quality chilly bin (such as an Icy-Tek, Burnsco, or YETI) for up to a couple of hours before your event.

How much freezer space do I need?

Our double ice buckets take up about half of a standard fridge-freezer drawer, and our triples take up just over half (but may need to be placed on their side due to height). Please refer to ice bucket dimensions above for reference. You can also stack your freezer items inside and around the bucket if space is limited. If you have a chest freezer, even better!

If you are hosting your event at a venue, we can liaise with them about storing your ice buckets in their freezer space.
